I wrote a note to myself and permanently attached it inside
I placed it there so it will remind me that I am
amazing, unique, wonderful, smart, kind, good enough, beautiful and
I can do anything I dream of
I placed it there so it would remind me that it is OK to discard
the things that are important to others but not to me

May I wake each day and learn more about how I can truly love and treasure this amazing self so I can love and treasure others with
everything I am capable of being


ARTIST NOTES:

As I stood back and stared at the pure white virgin paper, I froze,
"I can't do this. What in the world will I paint?"
I closed my eyes and wrote a note to myself and
placed it in my head.
It simply said, "yes, you can do this."

SO without judgement, without fear, without any expectations
I surrounded myself with my favorite colors
placed a paint brush in each hand and
I painted
I painted with strokes so brilliant and brave they that when I was done it scared me. "Wow so that is what is inside!"

It is times like that when we have no idea what is really is inside until we
dive in
explore it
and give it life
